Turnberry Associates and CENTRA Properties are joining forces to create a square in the center of Las Vegas. Town Square is one of the largest projects in construction right now, approximately a 100-acer site where the old Vacation Village casino use to rest. Town Square will be located at the intersection of two Las Vegas freeways, the 215 beltway and the I-15 freeway, creating easy access for all visitors and locals.

The project currently has no plans for a casino but will contain a plethora of retail, restaurants, office space, hotel, and even a cinema complex. Similar to The District at Green Valley Ranch, but super sized. Open-air streetscapes and a collage of Main Street architectural designs from the last 100 years will all come together to create a community atmosphere where people can come to shop, relax or meet a few friends for lunch. Located in the middle of all the shops and restaurants will be a huge expanse of lush green space that will include a children’s park, and in that park, a carousel and a $2 million tree. Centra and Turnberry want this area in specific to be a unique experience with the quality of Disney Land.

The grand opening is scheduled for fall 2006.
